Initial Visit
The initial visit will set the tone for your dental experience at our Philadelphia practice. Our doctors and staff understand this fact and strive to welcome each patient to our practice in an inviting and engaging manner. Upon your first visit, you will be asked to fill out some minor forms and paperwork so that we have a better understanding of your dental history and your oral health needs. Once the forms have been completed, one of our staff members will most likely take you for X-rays, so we can gain further insight into the health of your gums and teeth. Following X-rays, one of our endodontists will meet with you to discuss your case and review any questions or concerns you may have. Once a course of treatment is determined, subsequent follow-up appointments will be made.
Post-Care Dental Experience
Undergoing root canal therapy does not mean your dental experience in Philadelphia is over with yet; endodontic treatment is intended to provide long-term health benefits, and so requires post-care follow up with your general dentist. After your treatment in our Philadelphia practice, you will be referred back to your regular dentist for a permanent restoration. Continued, proper oral hygiene is always important, especially following any endodontic treatment, and we will recommend routine check-ups and X-rays with your regular dentist to ensure the treated tooth and the rest of the mouth remain healthy.
